SLED charges 3 after Barnwell woman found kidnapped in Jasper County

JASPER COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - Three subjects are facing charges after a Barnwell woman was found injured in Jasper County near Corner Lake Landing.

The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office requested SLED to assist with an investigation on April 3, after a woman was found.

Our sister station WTOC reported the woman who was found around 3 p.m. with her hands tied together near the riverbank.

The investigation determined that the woman was kidnapped in Barnwell County. The woman was transported to the hospital for treatment and is recovering.

On April 3, kidnapping warrants were obtained by the Barnwell County Sheriff’s Office for Adrienne Burgen Ginn, 31, Kaila Terria Bostick, 34 and Jamaal Terrell Riley, 30.

Ginn was arrested on April 6 in Hampton County by the South Carolina Highway Patrol for driving under suspension in the second offense, SLED says.

On April 8, SLED was requested to lead the investigation by the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office and the Hampton County Sheriff’s Office.

Bostick and Riley were arrested by the U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Fugitive Task Force in Indiana on April 11 and will be extradited to South Carolina.
