Local business owner hosts clothing, food giveaway

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - One local entrepreneur gave back to their community on Monday.
Key Green, one of the owners of 2K Cuts and Styles, held a free clothing and food giveaway in East Boundary.
They had items for all ages no matter what the need was.
During the event, we caught up with Green, who says they are from the East Boundary area.
They saw a need in their community and decided to step up.
“Giving back was just a thought that came to my mind one day. Get up, and do a giveaway. I didn’t have any money at the time, I just did it. It made me feel good, but it made me emotional too. But I just thank God for being able to do it,” said Green.
Their next giveaway is in June.
