GROVETOWN, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A 27-year-old has been arrested after being wanted in connection to an aggravated stalking case in Grovetown on Thursday, according to authorities.

Jail records confirm the suspect, Savone Ignatius Clayborne, was arrested on Thursday after officials stated they were searching for him on Wednesday.

According to the report, the victim stated Clayborne had violated his bond conditions from a previous arrest of stalking.

The victim told authorities when she left for work on Sunday, Clayborne was parked down the street, and when she ed him her followed behind her.

Authorities say she attempted to get away several times, then was finally able to lose him on I-20 in Grovetown.

This was after Clayborne sent multiple text messages, called the victim on Facetime, and left notes on her vehicle for over a month, according to authorities.

The victim told officials she felt afraid and threatened.

Clayborne is charged with aggravated stalking, according to jail records.
