Storm blows through the CSRA, knocking down trees

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A storm caused trees to fall on roads and powerlines across the CSRA on Saturday.

Multiple trees have been reported down across Columbia and Edgefield counties.

In Edgefield County, the sheriff’s office reported a tree down on Garrett Road at Red Oak Grove Road.

In Columbia County trees were reported down on powerlines by dispatch on Cottonwood Drive, Lone Oak and Gordon Highway.

Trees were also reported by dispatchers in the roads on Appling Harlem Road and I-20.

One tree was also reported to have fallen on a home along Creekview Circle with no injuries, according to dispatch.
