Annual Hispanic Festival returns to Augusta for 29th year

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Bring your appetite and pull out your dancing shoes, because the 29th annual Hispanic Festival is back downtown.

The festival kicked off at 6 p.m. on Friday at the Augusta Common.

Hours include:

  • Friday: 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Saturday: 12 p.m. to 11 p.m.

For many teams in the CSRA, football is family. When Ella Cassedy’s family got news that changed their lives halfway through her freshman year at Harlem, her football family came to help.

There will be authentic dishes and handicrafts from across the Americas and the Caribbean.

Internationally acclaimed performers Richie Cepeda, Frankie Negrón and Julio Flores are the headlining musical acts.

General ission is $5 per day, and children 12 and under are free.
