School bus carrying 41 kids crashes in South Carolina; 9 hospitalized
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - Nine people were hospitalized Thursday in a crash between a school bus and a car.
Patriot Boulevard at Appian Way was shut down at about 8:30 a.m. headed toward Ashley Phosphate Road following this crash. The roadway reopened around 11 a.m.
S.C. bus drops off 5-year-old outside and alone at closed day care
A family in South Carolina is looking for answers after their 5-year-old child was left alone at her day care, which was closed that day.

There were 41 students on the bus at the time of the crash. Photos show the windshield of the bus shattered.
The students were all headed to R.B. Stall High School, according to Charleston County School District spokesman Andy Pruitt.
Of those children, six were hospitalized. Three people who were in the involved vehicle were also taken to the hospital.

People have voiced their frustrations regarding the cleanup for more than two months after Helene hit our area.

All parents have reportedly been notified and that all children involved are either with their parents, at the hospital or at the school.
The severity of the injuries in this crash is unknown at this time.
