Overnight earthquake reported in South Carolina

ELGIN, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The United States Geological Survey said an earthquake was reported in the Midlands on Friday.
According to the USGS, the 2.0 magnitude quake hit the Elgin area around 3:47 a.m. It had a depth of three kilometers.
Officials said the earthquake was 4.4 miles east southeast of Elgin, 14.1 miles east northeast of Dentsville and 19.9 miles east northeast of Columbia.
