Emanuel County disaster recovery center to close permanently
SWAINSBORO, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - The FEMA disaster recovery center in Emanuel County is set to permanently close this week, according to the agency.
The center located at 346 Kite Road, Southeastern Technical College will close for good at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 5.
Until then, they are open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
There are other centers currently operating in Georgia. Residents can find the center closest to them by going to //fema.gov/drc.

Eight state agencies are under “routine” review and, for the next month, of a South Carolina House of Representatives committee want to hear the public’s .

Survivors can also the Georgia Call Center Monday through Saturday at 678-547-2861 for assistance with their application.
