COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - If you work during the NCAA Women’s Tournament in Columbia this week, Dawn Staley has your back once again.

This year, one of the most decorated coaches in the NCAA is providing a work note excuse for all the FAMS waiting to see their beloved Gamecock’s play.

Sage Valley Junior Invitational Golf Tournament returns this week

Sixty of the world’s best junior golfers will gather in Aiken County to play in the 15th annual Sage Valley Junior Invitational.

USC will play Tennessee Tech to kick off their March Madness run on Friday at Colonial Life Arena.

This is after they were selected as the second overall No. 1 seed in the Birmingham 2 Regional for the 2025 Women’s March Madness Tournament.

In the note, Staley asks the public to be excused from work so they can rally their towels in the air and show to the team.

Last year, Staley provided the public with a sick note to ensure all the FAMS made it to the tournament.

The game will take place at 4 p.m. on Friday.
