AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Recovery from Hurricane Helene is still felt across the CSRA, but the Small Business istration is closing its business recovery center in Richmond County.

The agency has been assisting with uninsured and underinsured losses, insurance deductibles, storm shutters and more.

When it opened, we spoke to Yabsira Adera, the public affairs specialist for the Small Business istration, about why this matters to our area.

“People who have trouble applying for government assistance online or people who have technological problems can come into these locations and receive direct help and one-on-one from our CSRs,” said Adera.

The operation at the McDuffie Woods Community Center, 3431 Old McDuffie Road, will close at 6 p.m. May 9.
