4 injured after shots fired at Augusta apartment complex
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Multiple victims were transported to the hospital on Monday night after shots were fired at an Augusta apartment complex, according to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
On Monday, around 9:55 p.m., deputies responded to 2101 Walton Way, Bon Air Apartments, in reference to shots fired.

About a year and a half after it became Fort Eisenhower, the local Army post will become Fort Gordon again.

On scene, deputies say they found four victims outside in the front lobby with gunshot wounds.
Each victim was then transported to Augusta University Medical Center to be treated for their injuries, according to the sheriff’s office.
We do not have any information on possible suspects at this time.
This is the fourth time deputies have gone to Bon Air Apartments this year.
- On March 13, a 26-year-old Austin Campbell was arrested after a stabbing at the apartment complex. Deputies say the victim was bleeding heavily from his injury. The victim stated that he had been stabbed and needed help.
- On May 20, the Richmond County Coroner’s Office went to the Bon Air Apartments for a suspicious death. Larry Laws, 71, was found by his nephew, who called 9-1-1 and was pronounced dead on the scene at 5:45 p.m.
- That same week, on May 24, deputies responded to the apartments for a shooting around 7:30 p.m. On scene, deputies say they found a male victim with a gunshot wound. 61-year-old Dannie Luke is wanted for aggravated assault in relation to the shooting.
