COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Hayden Harris is now one step away from playing at Truist Park

The left-handed pitcher has been promoted from the Braves Double-A in Columbus to the Gwinnett Stripers.

This comes amid bullpen setbacks in recent weeks to Atlanta’s rotation.

Not only was Harris teammates with Craig Kimbrel, but he put up veteran like numbers in the 18 games he stayed for.

In 22.2 innings with the Clingstones, the former Georgia Southern standout posted 37 strikeouts, allowing just 11 hits.

Harris enters Gwinnett with an 0.79 ERA and a 4-0 record and three saves.

The former Warrior was signed as a free agent by the Braves in 2022.
