Suspect arrested in shooting on May Street in Johnston

JOHNSTON, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - We’re learning more details about a shooting in Johnston on Wednesday afternoon.
Multi-agency search underway for woman missing after car crash
Multiple law enforcement agencies are searching for a missing woman who wandered into the woods after a car crash, according to the North Augusta Department of Public Safety.
The Johnston Police Department says one person was injured in the shooting that happened on May Street at 6:01 p.m.
The victim was taken to the hospital for their injuries, according to officials.
Officers say they believe it was an isolated incident, and one person is in custody.
Officers couldn’t give any more details, but say the shooting is an ongoing investigation.
