AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - Local parents called for change outside the Aiken County Board of Education meeting on Tuesday night.

Parents sounded off about the status of personnel at Redcliffe Elementary School with claims their children have been attacked.

We’ve previously told you about some teachers who say they’re concerned about the work environment.

We visited Aiken Tech’s Cyber Power Camp on Tuesday, where teenagers were learning how to build and program a model rover.

We heard from a parent about what she wants from the school system.

“I would hope for less Facebook action. You know, as I think someone in the district called it, ‘keyboard ninjas.’ I would hope for less of that and more face action, more putting the face to the issue just because that’s the only way that’s going to get through to them. That’s the only way that the district as a whole was going to understand that. We’re serious and we want change,” said Jillian Forrest, a parent.

After the public comment section, the board did not have any further discussions regarding Redcliffe Elementary.
