AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - On June 15, 2024, Elias Delk was killed due to blunt force trauma after being beaten to death by a group of patrons on the 1700 block of Martin Luther King Jr Blvd.

Authorities originally arrested two suspects on murder charges, Creston Curry and Tamiko Bolton.

According to the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office, a fuel truck, traveling eastbound on I-20, was involved in a fiery crash early Saturday.

Bolton appeared in court on Wednesday and was found guilty of felony murder for her participation in the killing and was sentenced to life in prison, according to District Attorney Jared Williams.

However, further investigation determined Curry, a convicted felon, was not a participant in the beating, and he was cleared of criminal charges of murder and armed robbery related to the incident, according to Williams.
