Joe started his career at WIBW in Topeka, Kansas, after graduating from Ohio University in 2020. He was a news multimedia journalist, a morning anchor on the weekends, and a Game of the Week football reporter.
He moved to Kansas City, Missouri to work at KCTV5. He tried some of the best BBQ, watched the Chiefs and Royals in person, explored downtown KCMO on the streetcar, and battled through freezing winters/scorching summers.
Joe is a journeyman already, living most of his life in Ohio, but he calls Oswego, Illinois home (a suburb of Chicago.) With that -- he is a Cincinnati Bengals, Chicago White Sox, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Notre Dame Fighting Irish fan! Although he is ionate about those teams, he just enjoys being around people watching any sport.
He worked for the local PBS station at Ohio University, where he hosted an award-winning football show “Gridiron Glory" and reported for the basketball show "Hardwood Heroes." He also reported on local news impacting Athens County, and the high school basketball show.
You can find him on the weekends at Forsyth Park playing pickup basketball and volleyball.
