Ty Grant is the newest digital content producer for WALB News 10. She is a South Georgia native hailing from Irwin County. Ty obtained her Business Specialist certification from Valencia College located in Orlando, Florida. She is attending the University of South Florida St. Petersburg and is graduating this spring where she majors in Marketing with a minor in Management. Ty gained her love for journalism, while working at FOX 31 News in Albany and expanded her knowledge with a larger market at WJBF News Channel 6 in Augusta. She enjoys talking to people and researching stories. She is honored to report topics that impact the people of South Georgia. When Ty is not at work, she enjoys roller skating, trying new foods, and spending quality time with family and friends.
